Title: Perception Based Fault Diagnosis in Process Control System

Abstract: Fault Diagnosis generally involves Epistemological Decision Making Process. The aim of epistemological decision making is to arrive at rational decisions based not only on merely numerical data but also on the conceptual knowledge contained in the data. Epistemological decision making is capable of cognition of the current situation in a complex system and analysis of possible alternative courses of action. This strategy is expected to be extremely useful in better operation and management of complex systems. At the preliminary level, epistemological decision making based on perception of the situation has been applied, whenever a new situation is encountered in the systems or when the data pertaining to a situation is not completely available. Decision making at this level is based on perception, thereby saving considerable computational time and efforts.

Title: Viscoelastic Fluid Flow through a Vertical Flat Plate with thermal diffusion, mass diffusion and constant suction

Abstract: The finite difference solution of viscoelastic fluid flow through an infinite vertical plate with thermal-diffusion and mass-diffusion has been investigated. To obtain the non-dimensional, coupled momentum, energy and concentration equations, the usual non-dimensional variables have been used. The obtained non-dimensional equations have been solved by implicit finite difference method. Also the stability conditions of the implicit finite difference method have been analyzed. The effects of the various parameters entering into the problem on the shear stress, Nusselt number, and Sherwood number are shown graphically.

Title: Radiation effect on MHD Casson fluid flow past a non-isothermal porous linearly stretching sheet

Abstract: Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Casson fluid flow past a non-isothermal porous linearly stretching sheet is investigated in presence of radiation. At first the system of governing equations are transformed into similarity ordinary differential equations. These equations are solved numerically using the Nactsheim-Swigert Shooting iteration technique together with Runge-Kutta six order iteration. Numerical results are obtained for the velocity in x and y directions and temperature at the linear stretching sheet. Self-similar solutions are obtained and related results are presented graphically and discussed quantitatively with respect to variation in Casson flow parameter as well as other fluid flow parameters.

Title: An Efficient Low Power CAM

Abstract: Content-addressable memory (CAM) is a special type of computer Memory used in certain very high speed searching applications. Content addressable memory (CAM) offers high-speed search function in a single clock cycle. Due to its parallel match line comparison, CAM is power hungry. Thus, robust, high speed and low-power sense amplifiers are highly sought-after in CAM designs. Introducing a parity bit that leads to sensing delay reduction at cost of less than 1% area and power over head. Furthermore, proposing an effective gated-power technique to reduce the peak and average power consumption and enhance the robustness of design against process variations .A feedback loop is employed to auto turn off power supply to comparison elements and hence reduce the average power consumption. Abstract: While computing technology is growing in leaps and boundaries, the human brain continues to be the world's fastest computer. Combine the brain-power with seeing power and you have the fastest, cheapest, most extra ordinary processor ever-the human eye. Little wonder, research labs the world over are striving to produce a near-perfect electronic eye. The “Generic Visual Perception Processor (GVPP)” has been developed after long years of scientific effort. Generic Visual Perception Processor can automatically detect objects and track their movement in real-time. It crunches 20 Billion instructions per second models the human perceptual process at the hardware level by mimicking the separate temporal and spatial functions of the eye-to-brain system. The processor sees its environment as a stream of histograms concerning the location and velocity of objects. This electronic “eye” on a chip can now handle most tasks that a normal human eye can.

Title: Region Based Segmentation Using EM/MPM Algorithm in Remote Sensing Images

Abstract: This Image segmentation is exact as recognition of reliable areas in the image. This paper proposed a region based segmentation approach for remote sensing images according to the EM/MPM algorithm. In this Expectation-Maximization/Maximization of the posterior Marginal (EM/MPM) algorithm is worked for immediate stricture assessment and region segmentation of remote sensing images. The EM/MPM algorithm uses a Markov random field model for the pixel class labels and alternately approximates the MPM approximation of the pixel class labels and estimates parameters of the practical image model. First the given image is converted to grayscale. The regions are identified based on pixels. The iteration method is used to define the segmentation process. Finally apply the EM/MPM algorithm to segment the number of regions in the remote sensing image and calculates the mean, median and standard deviation. The experiment result has shown that this algorithm achieved a good segmentation.

An attempt is made to design and implement an automatic tagger that extract a free text and then tag it. Two stages tagging system based MPL, FRNN and SVM are applied and planned. The system helps to classify words and assign the correct POS for each of them. Information about what is the impact of the natural language processing in the real world .Application of the natural language processing also in this paper.

Title: Analysis of annual Energy requirements for residential building in Maghreb Context

Abstract: The global increase of energy demand took an international importance in order to reduce emissions of greenhouse gas and slow the depletion of non-renewable energy resources. In this paper we focused on the assessment of envelope’s contribution to the annual energy requirement of a residential building in three cities of Maghreb: Casablanca in Morocco (Mild), Tamanrasset in Algeria (warm winter and hot dry summer), and Tunis in Tunisia (cold winter and hot summer) through building energy simulation program. Different passive measures were analyzed from an energetic point of view including two scenarios of thermal insulation, four different kinds of glazing systems (one simple and three double glazing), window to wall ratio ranging from small one (WWR=17%) to large widows (WWR=41%), and orientation of the main windowed facade. It is found that implementing one of these parameters can reduce significantly the annual energy requirements compared to the base case. The results of the three cities are presented.
